Microsoft has just announced that its upcoming Xbox Series X will be backwards compatible with Xbox One controllers.

The news was revealed on Xbox UK’s official Twitter account. The tweet confirmed, beyond the official Xbox controller, that other popular controllers work with the new system as well: Xbox Adaptive Controller, designed primarily for gamers with limited mobility, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller and the third-party SCUF Controller. Microsoft’s efforts to unite its products allow for a significantly accessible entry point for owners of previous-gen consoles.

In other gaming news, over 100 Xbox games will soon be playable on mobile phones.
