Frank Ocean and Luca Guadagnino, the director of Call Me By Your Name and the upcoming HBO show We Are Who We Are starring Kid Cudi, have reportedly been working on a secret project together.

Speaking to New York Times journalist Kyle Buchanan about the HBO show, Guadagnino also mentioned that he recently teamed up with Ocean for some new music. “We were collaborating on a music video that never happened,” Guadagnino told Buchanan, who shared the news via Twitter. “I use the Times to launch an appeal to Frank: Frank, let’s do that video. Come on.”

The title and other specifics of the project were not mentioned, but if it were to be released, it would follow up a number of post-Blonde singles such as “DHL,” “In My Room” and the vinyl exclusives “Dear April” and “Cayendo.”

Guadagnino’s We Are Who We Are is a coming-of-age story following two American kids who reside in a military base near Venice, Italy in 2016, and will explore themes of friendship, first love and “all the unknowns of being a teenager.” Cudi will portray Richard Harper, the father of Jordan Kristine Seamon’s teenage character Caitlin Harper.

Elsewhere in music, Travis Scott and Kid Cudi are working on a full-length collaborative album.
