J. Cole's '2014 Forest Hills Drive' Receives 12 New Gold and Platinum Plaques
For tracks like “Hello,” “No Role Modelz” and more.

J. Cole took home a total of 12 new RIAA certifications for his third studio album 2014 Forest Hills Drive, receiving seven additional Platinum and five Gold plaques.
RIAA’s Platinum and Gold certifications are awarded when a record sells 1 million units and 500,000 units respectively. The trade organization’s website lists “No Role Modelz” as 6x Platinum, “Wet Dreamz” as 4x Platinum, “GOMD” as 3x Platinum, “Tale of 2 Citiez” and “Apparently” as 2x Platinum and “Fire Squad” and “Love Yourz” as Platinum, while “Intro,” “Hello,” “St. Tropez,” “03’ Adolescence” and “January 28th” are all Gold.
The certifications for 2014 Forest Hills Drive arrives just three months after the RIAA announced 10 new plaques for its followup studio album, 4 Your Eyez Only. This round gave Cole seven Gold and three Platinum certifications and is his first LP to have every song certified.
The rapper’s manager and Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim Hamad shared the news on Twitter, writing, “FHD certifications. The album that changed everything. That s*t still going crazy 6 years later.”
Cole is currently gearing up to release his sixth studio album, dropping the Lewis Street EP as a teaser, and is reportedly training to join the NBA.
