J. Cole Receives 10 New RIAA Certifications
With only one feature.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced a total of 10 new Gold and Platinum certifications for J. Cole, effectively making every song from 2016’s 4 Your Eyez Only to be given either one of these awards.
As listed on the trade organization’s official website, the rapper’s “4 Your Eyez Only,” “She’s Mine Pt. 2,” “She’s Mine Pt. 1,” “Ville Mentality,” “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Change” and “Foldin’ Clothes” are officially certified Gold, ”Immortal” and Dreamville, Cole and Lute‘s “Under the Sun” collab with DaBaby are now Platinum and the single “Neighbors” is now Double Platinum.
In order for a record to receive the RIAA’s Gold and Platinum certifications, it must accumulate 500,000 units and 1 million units respectively. Beginning February 2016, an album unit may be comprised of one digital or physical album sold, 10 album tracks downloaded or 1,500 on-demand audio or video stream of the album’s songs.
Every song from 4 Your Eyez Only by J. Cole is now Certified Gold or Above by the RIAA

It’s a very rare occurrence – Cardi B & Kendrick have also achieved it
