DEVO Releases Energy Dome Face Shield
When the COVID comes along, “You must whip it.”
DEVO has just released a full face shield and two masks that whimsically reference their stage outfits. Seen during live performances and the iconic music video for “Whip It,” the Energy Dome has now been brought forth into 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as a PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Kit.
Its product description explains that the Energy Dome “collects energy that escapes from the crown of the human head and pushes it back into the Medula Oblongata for increased mental energy.” On top of the piece of throwback headgear, the group is also dropping two OSFM triple-ply cotton face masks – both celebrating the 40th anniversary of DEVO’s Freedom of Choice album.
Fans of DEVO can find the pre-orders for the face shield and face masks over at Impact Merch for $50 USD and $20 USD, respectively.
