Expanding the brand’s familiar military aesthetic, Wisdom is prepping a quietly technical apparel drop for Summer 2020. Encompassing a brief array of seasonal staples, the collection is informed by functional fabrics and intelligent design cues.

Wisdom’s design ethos upholds environmental consciousness and multi-purpose applications, sourcing textiles intended to minimize the brand’s carbon footprint without sacrificing the garments’ wearability. This drop updates silhouettes ripped from an army apparel catalog: sweat-wicking base layers and cargo shorts are on hand alongside baggy graphic tees and collarless field jackets, executed in versatile olive, navy and neutral shades.

Key to this collection is “SHIN-COOL,” created by Taiwanese company Xinguang Textiles. The fabric boasts a soft, satin-like handfeel, with moisture absorption and quick-drying properties. Elsewhere, elastic seersucker and 3M accents lend further visual appeal to the range, some of which are handpicked from Japanese sources. These offer the wearer water repelling properties and have been milled responsibly.
