Also possibly unveiling new models of the Galaxy Fold.
Samsung has announced its 2020 Galaxy Unpacked event set to take place on August 5, where the company is speculated to announce its new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold models.
The tech giant shared a cryptic teaser for the event, with reports noting that the color scheme is similar to that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra images accidentally shared on Samsung Russia’s website from earlier this July.
Nothing has been confirmed so far, however, sources are claiming that Samsung will be releasing a minimum of two Galaxy Note 20 models that differs in size. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is billed as the line’s flagship model and is rumored to feature three rear camera lenses, including a periscope-style lens and a fourth sensor that may either act as a 3D time-of-flight sensor or laser autofocus. Upgraded specs may involve either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 or reported Snapdragon 865 Plus, an S-Pen and a few more improvements.
In addition to the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung might also unveil the successor to its Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will supposedly arrive with an internal 7.7-inch display and currently unspecified specs upgrades. Finally, there’s talk of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G that will utilize the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor.
The 2020 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled to take place on August 5, 10 a.m. EST.
