Suicoke has called in Nepenthes for two bold renditions of the “RAC,” a sleek open-heel footwear piece that comes in the colorways “Snake” and “white.” This collaboration follows a project with nonnative unveiled last month.
As its name suggests, the “Snake” model is detailed with finely textured faux python skin alongside hi-tech materials like mesh and soft neoprene cushioning. Covering the tongue, all the way to the toecap and around the lower heel, most of the shoe’s body is detailed in the aforementioned leather — neutral-toned shades are placed around the heel. A breathable dark-gray sockliner sticks out above the shoe’s collars, while an adjustable velcro strap at the heel and midsole round off the shoe’s sleek look. The “White” pair shares the same features as its scaly counterpart, except sporting a clean triple white colorway.
Nepenthes and Suicoke’s “RAC” pack will be available on July 10 on Nepenthes’ website for $196 USD.
