After launching for commercial sale, Boston DynamicsSpot robot recently joined some Softbank Robotics Pepper robots for a dance at the recent Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks game.

Despite fans not being allowed at Nippon Professional Baseball games, the recent match at Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome saw the two robot models provide entertainment during the seventh inning. Softbank began placing its robots to support its baseball since the Nippon Professional Baseball reopened last month.

Filling a section of the bleachers, 40 units of both the Japanese personal companion robot and Boston Dynamic’s dog-like robot danced to the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks’ team song “Izayuke Wakataka Gundan” creating a truly unique atmosphere.

Watch the eerie robot performance above and below.

In case you missed it, Tesla recently mocked short-sellers with the release of a pair of short shorts.
