ROKIT and Converse Release Crisp Pro Leather Ox
A love letter to DTLA’s flower district, in footwear form.

After joining forces for a Chuck 70 in May, ROKIT and Converse are back for their second collaboration of 2020: a crisp Pro Leather Ox. A love letter to downtown Los Angeles’s Flower District, the low-cut, light colored shoe was crafted for an LA lifestyle and draws inspiration from both basketball and skateboarding in true ROKIT fashion.
Built from high-gloss patent leather, the uppers on this low-cut Pro Leather are dressed entirely in white, save for ROKIT’s signature orange dot logo. This recognizable circle is present on lateral and medial sides alike — large on the former, small on the latter — and is joined by debossed star graphics on the heel plus an exposed foam tongue. Midsoles are done up in a translucent icy blue, with the outsole’s Converse badge adding one more dash of visible orange.
For a touch of hidden flair, insoles serve up a shiatsu massage-inspired foot reflexology chart reminiscent of Pharrell and adidas‘s Hu line. These sockliners are split between black (left foot) and orange (right foot) with a ROKIT badge overlaid on each heel to complete the look.
