Best Look Yet at the Unreleased Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” Sample

Ever a master of building hype, the polymathic Virgil Abloh sent the sneaker world into a frenzy back in January when he was spotted wearing a sample pair of Off-White™ and Nike‘s ultra-rare Air Force 1 “MCA” before Louis Vuitton’s FW20 runway at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, Abloh’s avid fans were granted another look when the style was accidentally sent to Houston Dynamo defender Zarek Valentin in a seeding package. Now, the general public has been presented with its best look at the shoe yet, thanks to a pair unexpectedly arriving at Stadium Goods.

Although the alterations from the standard pair are undeniably distinct, the look is still based around a crisp sky blue leather upper, adorned with metallic silver Swooshes and white Helvetica text on the medial quarter. After that dose of familiarity, however, this model becomes wildly divergent from its predecessor.

A doubled-up lacing system with standard white laces over the throat and a set of wide-reaching blue laces secured by black anchors nod to Abloh’s 2019 Dunk Lows. The aforementioned Swoosh may be silver, but it’s surrounded by black thread and a black hangtag in place of the other version’s blue and red accouterments. White leather is placed on the heel tab and heel strip, and for a finishing touch midsoles are done up in black with a white “AIR” hit.
