Taiwanese American artist James Jean has created a special edition sculpture that pays homage to another of the Impressionism period, Edgar Degas’ Little Dancer of Fourteen Years.

In his new work, titled Maze, Jean brings to life the principal character in his 2008 painting of the same name, personifying every detail of her figure. The patinated bronze figure is accompanied by a stick and maze that are made of gold plated stainless steel.

Maze arrives at an edition of 25, measures 30cm by 16.5cm, and will set you back €8175 EUR (approx. $9269 USD). Visit Avant Arte’s official website to register for its release.
