Wiley Surprise-Drops Another New Album 'Boasty Gang'
Coinciding with U.K.’s Windrush Day.

After sharing his 13th studio album, titled The Godfather 3, just two weeks ago, Wiley has returned with yet another new album. Released with no warning to his fans, Boasty Gang – The Album features 19 songs, including his hit track “Boasty” featuring Idris Elba. Although Wiley hinted that The Godfather 3 would be his final album, the surprise record proves otherwise.
On taking a leave after The Godfather 3, Wiley said, “When they blocked Full Circle [a new album of his set to be released in 2019 but then scrapped], I made it my goal to make sure the grime scene wheels are spinning before I leave. I need those wheels to be spinning.” Kicking off with tracks “10/10,” “Top Baller” and “Bad Like We,” the latest project arrives on Britain’s Windrush Day, an observed day which honors first-generation migrants, especially those with an Afro-Caribbean background, who moved to the U.K. in the late 1940s. He shared his album on Twitter, labeling it “WindRush Music.”
