After unveiling new leather boots as part of its upcoming Pre-Fall 2020 collection, Bottega Veneta has given the traditional loafer silhouette a playful twist for this season’s footwear range. The Black Driver loafers come in both a classic slip-on and lace-up style.
Just like Bottega Veneta’s upcoming footwear collection emphasizes exaggerated soles, the casual calfskin loafers boast chunky square moc-toes that extend behind the back of the shoe. This asymmetrical sole offers both height and structure to the soft leather shoes. Further, the buffed calfskin upper contrasts with the tan rubber sole and complementary leather footbed. Crafted by Italian artisans, the luxe offering emphasizes the brand’s heritage in leatherwork and timeless aesthetic, yet ability to mix up traditional styles, textures and materials.
