New Balance Korea Launches Exclusive CRV-COVE Sandal/Sneaker
A special summer shoe designed, made and sold domestically.
Keeping in line with the brand’s recent slate of outdoor-ready silhouettes, New Balance‘s Korean branch has imagined a special shoe that was designed, made and will be sold domestically. The CRV-COVE sandal/sneaker hybrid is ideal for summer adventures, with plenty of thoughtful touches that elevate its design.
Multi-functionality informs the CRV-COVE, which is appropriately offered in versatile khaki, grey and black colorways. A hi-vis reflective tape wraps the foot for stability, bolstered by pull tab-abetted laces and a crushable heel that equally ensure a dynamic fit. Cushioned soles are reinforced with non-slip properties thanks to a proprietary synthetic rubber blend, while the upper utilizes quick-drying breathable mesh ideal for wicking sweat or tackling dips in the pool or a lake.
Though it’s only offered within Korea, stores like 8DIVISION will ship the New Balance CRV-COVE internationally.
Meanwhile, New Balance Japan joined with local boutique The Apartment for an exclusive GORE-TEX 801 model.
