Sneaker store size? has teamed up with Fred Perry to celebrate twenty years since it first opened its doors, with an acid house-inspired release.

Paying homage to the colors and patterns from the acid house scene, size? and Fred Perry has created a collection entitled “Kaleidoscope”. Featuring the classic Fred Perry twin tipped polo shirt, a long sleeved t-shirt and bucket hat, each garment has been hand-died, meaning no two pieces are the same.

Inspired by the infamous “Second Summer of Love” in 1988, the rise of Acid House saw an influx of tie-dyed baggy t-shirts and bucket hats worn by ravers up and down the U.K. — most notably at Manchester’s Hacienda.

Over thirty years on and tie-dye remains a subcultural icon, immortalised through pop culture references over the years. Intrinsically associated with rave culture, the psychedelic swirls of colour are a symbol of togetherness and the focus of this summer-ready collaboration.

The Fred Perry x size? 20th Anniversary ‘Kaleidoscope’ Collection will be exclusively available for raffle via the size? app from June 22, releasing on June 26. The collection will be available exclusively from the retailer’s stores in Manchester and Carnaby Street, for more information visit the size? web store.

In other news, END. has teamed up with Beams Plus for an anniversary collection of its own.
