For many basketball fans, it’s still hard to believe that NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is gone. The Hall of Famer passed away in January 26 this year from a tragic helicopter accident along with daughter Gianna “Gigi” Bryant. The sport world continues to mourn and tributes are still pouring in.

In the recent 2020 ESPY awards by ESPN, the virtual ceremony highlighted inspiring stories of service, perseverance, and courage in the face of the coronavirus crisis. One of the tributes included a two-and-a-half minute montage clip for Kobe Bryant in musical fashion with lyrics accompanied by iconic rapper Snoop Dogg. The heartfelt visual includes fans mourning and celebrating Bryant’s life, career highlights, family, friends, teammates and the sports community coming together. The video ends with a giant mural of Bryant and daughter Gigi painted on a basketball court and captured through an aerial shot. You can watch the tribute above and the entire awards ceremony on ESPN’s YouTube page.

Additionally, superstar athletes Russell Wilson, Megan Rapinoe & more are featured in a video about uniting against racial injustice.
