Maison Margiela Releases Chunky Spliced Ankle Boots
Coated in maroon leather.
After recently dropping a sterling silver Tabi necklace, Maison Margiela has now released a luxe pair of leather boots in preparation for the fall. The lace-up kicks are coated in rich maroon leather, while the spliced detailing at the front lends a unique silhouette.
Crafted in 100% Bovine leather, the boots are distinguished by a moccasin-inspired shape on the upper. To achieve the glossy finish, the shoes are lacquered with black wax to complement the multicolored exterior. The laces are then featured in black for a tonal look, while a hefty rubber sole rounds it all out.
Priced at $1,380 USD, Maison Margiela’s Spliced Ankle Boots are available now at Maison Margiela’s webstore and retailers such as Saks.
