Maison Margiela Drops Sleek Black Tabi Loafers
Enlivening the label’s signature split-toe design.
Maison Margiela has unveiled a brand new footwear piece from its Spring/Summer 2020 lineup. After dropping its dark brown suede Tabi Chelsea boots, the label has applied its signature split-toe design on a pair of loafers this time around.
The shoe features a sleek construction, accentuated by its smoothly buffed finish. Starting at the top of the silhouette is a skinny penny saddle, complemented by a large center seam that extends all the way down to the top of the cleft split. Much of the uppers’ design, with its subtly tonal top-stitching, has been kept minimal while contrasting accents like the label’s white stitch at the heel and creamy beige leather interiors complete the shoe.
Maison Margiela’s black Tabi loafers are currently available on LN-CC’s website for $826 USD.
