Azealia Banks might be one of the most outspoken musicians within the hip-hop landscape, leading to many disliking her for simply speaking her mind. Yet at the same time, Banks might be one of the industry’s most consistent, continuously delivering on her uncompromising vision and undeniable talent. Now the Harlem rapper is continuing to showcase her strengths, delivering an ice-cold banger alongside Lex Luger dubbed “Black Madonna.”

On “Black Madonna,” Lex Luger provides an eerie lofi backdrop that’s been retrofitted with atmospherically warped, cloud rap-like bass and pads. Azealia takes no time to unleash her lyrical braggadocio, rapping “Show some *ss, he spending this cash/Rich and bad, these b*tches mad I got the gift of gab/N***as *ss, .40 mag in my Birkin bag/Click and blast, take out the trash, I’m dumping ‘em.”
