Kamaiyah is in a festive mood with her newest track, “Black Excellence.”

The followup to her Got It Made EP, “Black Excellence” hears the Oakland rapper proudly preach about her rightful success as a Black woman. The upbeat cut is a smooth reminder of the Black community’s triumphs as they continue to seek justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and those who have been killed by police.

“Happy Juneteenth to all my melanated folks out there today we celebrate our victories and not our demises,” she wrote on Instagram. “[L]et’s continue to make our ancestors proud with our forward thinking and progression.”

Stream Kamaiyah’s “Black Excellence” on Spotify and Apple Music.

Elsewhere, 6LACK announced his new EP and his first ever Hot Sauce.
