Maxfield LA Spotlights Shawn Stussy's Beach-Ready Dior Collaboration

Luxury Melrose Avenue-based stalwart Maxfield LA has captured the Shawn Stussy for Dior collection in a photo campaign shot by Daniel Regan.
Maxfield LA wanted to capture Shawn Stussy’s Californian spirit. In the early ’80s, he was known for selling T-shirts and hats out of his car trunk at Newport Beach. Today, Maxfield LA spotlights this OG surfer/skater’s spirit by heading down to the beach, decking California’s youth in the Pre-Fall 2020 Shawn Stussy x Dior collaboration.
Some standout pieces captured in the photo series include the blue-and-white technical canvas button-up shirt, the intarsia knit sweater, and the pair of B23 sneakers. The photo series is part of Maxfield LA’s new digital initiative which aims to give the shop a bigger online presence. It shall continue to produce photography campaigns, interviews, and stories with the help of global talent, each capturing one of its vendors.
