HBO Max Debuts Trailer for 'Doom Patrol' Season 2
Now rebranded as an HBO Max original.
DC Universe‘s second season of Doom Patrol has now been rebranded as an HBO Max original series in its first official trailer. The footage above is focused on introducing the breakout DC Universe series to a fresh new audience as it presents the team’s eccentric members one by one. Brendan Fraser’s Robotman, Matt Bomer’s Negative Man, April Bowlby’s Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero’s Crazy Jane, and Jovian Wade’s Cyborg all get the spotlight in the video.
Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody in season 1, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves shrunken and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track, where they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder (a.k.a. The Chief) while confronting their own personal issues. They also must come together and embrace their newest member Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), the daughter of Niles Caulder, who has a mysterious power that could threaten the whole world.
The first three episodes of Doom Patrol season 2 arrive on HBO Max June 25, followed by a new episode every week for the following six weeks.
