No Rome Releases "Hurry Home" Featuring Beabadoobee and Jay Som
A mellow track about a struggling relationship.
London-based Filipino musician No Rome has recently shared a new single titled “Hurry Home.” The producer has tapped fellow Filipino artists Beabadoobee and Jay Som for the track, which is a smooth and laid-back record about a struggling relationship.
“Hurry Home” was co-produced by No Rome’s longtime collaborator George Daniel of pop band The 1975. This marks the second release from No Rome in a series of expected musical collaborations, following behind “Trust 3000” featuring Dijon, which came out late last year.
“We don’t talk too much, I need constant touch. Maybe something’s wrong,” states the “Hurry Home” chorus. “We can fix it if you want to. I don’t need too much. Think we’re out of touch.” The mellow ballads are complemented by an acoustic guitar in the opener before the melody is ramped up throughout the second half of the track.
