Viz Media unveiled the first trailer and key poster for One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 during New York Comic Con 2026 weekend

JAM Project returns with a new opening theme titled “Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-,” previewed in the trailer

The new episodes push deeper into the Monster Association Saga, with Tatsumaki set for a major showdown in this stretch

One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 has officially shown its hand, with Viz Media releasing the first trailer and poster for the back half of the season during New York Comic Con 2026 weekend. The reveal locks the new episodes into the Winter 2027 anime lineup with a January debut, picking up the thread left by the first half of Season 3, which concluded in 2025. The timing also lands as the franchise marks its 10th anniversary.

Part 2 continues adapting the “Monster Association Saga” from ONE’s original series, which stands as the longest arc the franchise has produced so far. Season 3 opened that chapter in earnest, and the second half promises an escalation in clashes between the S-Class Heroes and the most dangerous monsters in the organization’s ranks. Tatsumaki is primed for one of the standout bouts of this run, giving the psychic powerhouse a showcase that has been building since her introduction.

All of it points toward the arc’s ultimate collision between Garou and Saitama, although whether that face-off arrives within this batch of episodes remains unconfirmed. For now, the trailer and poster set the stage for a season that leans fully into large-scale action, with the creative team, music and source material all aligned toward the saga’s endgame.

Shinpei Nagai directs at J.C. Staff, while Tomohiro Suzuki handles series composition and Makoto Miyazaki returns to score the music. Character design duties are split across a trio of artists in Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa, a configuration that keeps the visual language consistent heading into the arc’s heavier battles.

The trailer also doubles as a first listen for the new opening, “Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-,” performed by JAM Project. The anisong supergroup’s return extends a relationship that stretches back to the anime’s very first season, when it delivered the original opening theme “THE HERO!!” The new track’s title alone hints at the scale of the confrontations ahead, framing the season as a collision between raw strength and dread.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 premieres in January 2027 as part of the Winter 2027 anime season, with an exact release date and streaming platform yet to be announced. Every episode released so far, including the first half of Season 3, is currently streaming on Hulu in both Japanese and English audio.
