UNDEFEATED Announces Converse Chuck 70 "Fundamentals" Capsule
The first release from UNDEFEATED’s new “Fundamentals” program.
UNDEFEATED is kicking off its new “Fundamentals” program with a Converse Chuck 70 capsule. This quintessential Converse silhouette is an ideal starting point for UNDEFEATED’s new initiative, with the brand stating “Fundamentals explores a curation of essential items subtly redefined through the lens of UNDEFEATED.”
Arriving alongside a campaign seemingly inspired by vintage magazine ads, UNDEFEATED’s two takes on the Chuck 70 Hi retain the shoe’s inherently classic ethos but add an extra dash of branded flair. Timeless “Parchment” mixes an off-white upper with a red and blue-striped midsole, adding black text branding on the heel and collar’s All-Star logo. Meanwhile, OG “Black” brings royal blue contrast into the mix on heels and collars. Both pairs also serve up an embossed tonal Five Strike logo on the midsole’s lateral forefoot for a final dash of alternate style.
The UNDEFEATED x Converse Chuck 70 “Fundamentals” in “Parchment” and “Black” will release exclusively on the UNDEFEATED webstore May 22. Retail prices have yet to be announced, and further “Fundamentals” drops will follow through the summer months.
