KEEN and atmos' Exclusive Uneek Is a Summer-Ready Choice

KEEN has crafted a special “Jade/Black” iteration of its Uneek sandal for atmos. Seemingly drawing some inspiration from the iconic atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Elephant,” these uniquely-built, surprisingly sturdy sandals were undeniably crafted with the beach in mind — but are more than durable enough to traverse city streets as well.

Woven black cords running from toebox to midfoot secure a black synthetic shield that covers the wearer’s dorsum, and are tied in knots to mantain their structure. Heels are closed with a single black strap that extends upwards from the midfoot. Bright jade accents are present on the elastic lacing system that runs over the tongue, secured by two translucent toggles.

Branding is largely kept to a minimum, but more jade does appear on the top half’s two small KEEN embellishments. Colorful footbeds equip a repeating “2020” print, and midsoles are build of a bone-colored EVA foam with a black stripe. Sturdy black and teal rubber outsoles round off the look in appealing fashion.

This atmos-exclusive Keen Uneek is available now via the atmos webstore, and retails for ¥12,000 JPY (approximately $112 USD).
