BAPE and Suicoke Rejoin for Holographic DAO Sandals
Another seasonal take on the spiky-soled slides.
Following last year’s partnership, BAPE has rejoined Suicoke for another set of bespoke DAO sandals. Retaining the recognizable toggle closure and sawtooth outsole, the Spring/Summer 2020 edition is enriched by lenticular uppers that yield a holographic-like effect.
Part of Suicoke’s seasonal collaborative push, the latest joint effort with BAPE also includes more MOTO sandals for children. However, the DAO silhouette is clearly the star of the show, with striking light and dark colorways each offering different twists on the BAPE-branded holographic detailing atop the straps. Toggles make for easy adjustment while the ridged outsole heightens grip, even on uncertain terrain.
