BAPE & Suicoke's Collaborative DAO Sandals Receive Western Release
An extended drop for the adventurous slip-on silhouette.
After dropping overseas earlier this month, BAPE and Suicoke‘s ripple sole-laden slide sandals are set to receive a more expansive North American release. The covetable DAO silhouette and kids-exclusive MOTO-2 are set to hit select retailers in Canada and America, along with Suicoke’s website.
The two DAO slide sandals are a new Suicoke model exclusive to the BAPE collaboration, elevating details from other models into a sleek package. A trim EVA footbed and toothy ripple soles are bolstered by an easily-adjustable lacing system that tightens the forefoot strap with minimal effort. BAPE’s FIRST CAMO accents each iteration of the sandal; forest green for the all-black pair and shades of blue on the white/red pair. Only available in children sizes, the MOTO-2 sports FIRST CAMO on the velcro straps, with earth tones granting the upper a muted contrast against the white outsole.
Expect all three collaborative sandals hit Suicoke’s web store, and HAVEN and KITH‘s storefronts on May 18. The DAO will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
Elsewhere, Suicoke’s collaborative mastermind WORLD espadrilles also received a Western release.
