mastermind WORLD & Suicoke's Collaborative Espadrilles Receive Wider Release
Offered in creamy beige and bold red color palettes.
As a follow up to the previous collaboration mastermind vs A BATHING APE® Summer 2019 capsule, the Japanese label has returned for another co-sign, this time with footwear label Suicoke and under the mastermind WORLD moniker.
The latest capsule includes the mastermind WORLD X Suicoke Logo Embroidered Espadrilles, with colorways of red and beige. Detailed under a sharp red-toned base, the slip-ons are constructed in soft premium suede. We find the iconic skull-and-crossbones insignia embroidered with silver threading at the lateral sides of the shoe, while branding at the front panel is woven in gold. In between the two embroidered areas is Suicoke’s tab, lettered with the footwear brand’s slogan “inviting atmosphere wear comfortable products.” The defining feature of the piece appears at its midsole, crafted with esparto rope, highlighting its textured weaves that extend to the lower portion of the upper for added contrast. Lastly, we are presented with the other colorway which is more discreet but graced in a creamy light beige palette not far off from the shoe’s esparto textiles.
The mastermind WORLD X Suicoke Logo Embroidered Espadrilles are currently available at SSENSE in red and beige for $250 USD.
