Lil Nas X Shares Official “Old Town Road” MV
Starring Billy Ray Cyrus and Chris Rock.
After months of remixes and viral memes, Lil Nas X has finally released the official music video for his hit single, “Old Town Road.”
After sharing a quick 14-second snippet earlier today, the full-length project has landed and of course country star Billy Ray Cyrus also stars in the accompanying visuals. The clip starts off with Lil Nas X and Cyrus escaping the sheriff and his crew (featuring a quick cameo from Chris Rock) with a bag full of money. Soon after the duo find what they think is an abandon house for shelter only to be scared away by a man wielding a rifle. Nas then runs into a tunnel that leads him into modern day America. As he strolls and dances along the streets of a working class neighbourhood, he picks up numerous questioning looks along the way. Check out “Old Town Road” above which also stars Vince Staples and Diplo.
Earlier this month, DJ Diplo recruited Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X for his “So Long” visuals which included footage of the trio performing “Old Town Road.”
