Dior's Lee Young Kyoon Drops Archival Raf Simons Webstore
Pieces range from the 2001 “Riot! Riot! Riot!” collection to 2019.
Dior‘s Lee Young Kyoon has launched a website selling archive Raf Simons pieces, ranging from the iconic 2001 “Riot! Riot! Riot!” collection to the more recent 2018-19 “Replicants” collection.
The website offers up some of the rarest and most important Raf Simons pieces around, with notable items including a “Riot! Riot! Riot!” runway oversized blouson and a sweater from the same era covered in patches imagining David Bowie, Richy Edwards, a Joy Division concert poster and an article for the missing Edwards from the Manic Street Preachers.
Elsewhere, we see a “Dazzle Ships” fishtail parka, the “Exiles” turtleneck from the “Wave” collection which is also covered in patches depicting Ortega y Gasset’s “Shipwreck” passage, rave culture and fabricated record labels, as well as a gold-plated “R” emblem necklace.
Aside from clothing, Lee Young Kyoon’s website presents homeware pieces such as the Joy Division lanterns from Raf Simons’ 2018-19 collection. Take a look at the archive Raf Simons pieces in the gallery above, and inquire for purchase on C’EST CHAUD ! now.
