Supporting game discovery and optimized button mapping.
Following up from its original Nimbus release, gaming peripheral company SteelSeries has now released its upgraded Nimbus+ wireless gaming controller, this time designed specifically to work with Apple devices. Meeting the tech giant’s MFi standards, the new controller can be paired with pretty much any of the brand’s devices, including the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Macs, and even Apple TV. Built with ergonomics in mind, its ultra-responsive triggers and buttons also support fully optimized mapping for more comfortable and advanced play.
“With its iPhone Mount and an amazing 50 hours of battery life, Nimbus+ is the ideal companion to games on the App Store and Apple Arcade that feature controller support such as Sneaky Sasquatch, Butter Royale and Crossy Road Castle,” says Craig Olson, SteelSeries’ President of Worldwide Mobile. “We’ve added many other new features, making Nimbus+ the new global standard in mobile gaming performance.”
For those interested, the SteelSeries Nimbus+ Apple wireless gaming controller is going for $70 USD, now available over at Apple and subsequently on the gaming peripheral company’s own website on May 26.
