Finnish sneaker brand KARHU has unveiled its “Marathon” pack, a three-piece collection designed to celebrate and highlight a unique connection between Greece and Finland.

Consisting of the Fusion 2.0 – the brand’s most iconic sneaker – and two sporty color-blocked Legacy 96s, the “Marathon” Pack is a reworking of some of KARHU’s finest and most popular work.

Legend has it Pheidippides made his final exclamation after running the 25 miles from the battlefield in Marathon to Athens to announce the heavily outnumbered Athenian army defeated the Persians. The marathon has since become running’s most famous race and to highlight the unique connection between Greece and Finland, a nation with a rich history in running, KARHU presents the “Marathon” Pack.

Each sneaker features a bright white leather upper and a soft mesh with dyed suede panels at the toe and heel. All three silhouettes are partnered with white mid-soles to create an athletic look.

The Marathon Pack will be released globally on Saturday, May 16th 2020 at Karhu’s webstore.

In other news, Reebok has celebrated the Club C with a 35th anniversary “Colour Pack”.
