After getting a look at a footwear style, NIGO has now revealed a trunk design from his upcoming LV² collaboration with Virgil Abloh.

Taking to Instagram the Japanese streetwear icon, posted some images of a new take on Louis Vuitton’s classic storage box for the special range. The storage option retains the original leather edges and metal hardware elements associated with the malletier roots of the luxury fashion house. Straying away from the usual Monogram decoration route, the box features a weaved construction that recalls an element of mid-century design. As an avid collector of Louis Vuitton items, NIGO’s collaborative take on a trunk offers a look into what the tastemaker wished to see from LV over his years of collection.

Take a look at the trunk design from the Louis Vuitton NIGO x Virgil LV² collection below.

In case you missed it, Virgil Abloh recently announced another Off-White™ x Nike Dunk collaboration is on the way.
