Virgil Abloh Unveils NIGO x LV² Footwear Style

Continuing to show off what he has been working on at Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh has teased a footwear style from his LV² line created in collaboration with NIGO.

Originally revealed by Mathias Patillon, head of footwear design at LV Men’s, the shoe is a take on a slip-on mule that referencing clog styling. Crafted of premium suede, the upper features a round toe design with relief cuts near the opening and a thick strap adorn with a gold-tone LV² buckle and subtle leather detail. The slip-on interior is lined with fur and a leather segment for an added level of luxury. Elevating the shoe is a welted sole with a matching leather trim paired with a rippled rubber outsole element.
