NEXUSVII and G-SHOCK Team up for Military-Inspired DW-5600
Coming with a special infrared-tinted backlight.
G-SHOCK has called in NEXUSVII to rework of one of its signature watches. After unveiling its collaboration with BEAMS just yesterday, G-SHOCK and NEXUSVII have given the DW-5600 a bold olive military-inspired makeover.
Mirroring the anti-commercial and corporate regulations of the military, both the “CASIO” and “NEXUSVII” branding has been removed from the watch’s face. Most of the body comes in a dark forest green palette, complemented by a matte black metal belt buckle and a protective guard along the face. The watch also comes with a backlight that gives off an infrared tint, making the watch’s face more visible at night. Furthermore, a “NEXUVII” logo is subtly debossed at the back case, while the watch’s mil-spec-inspired packaging rounds up the utilitarian design concept of this release.
The NEXUSVII x G-SHOCK DW-5600 will be available on May 23 on NEXUSVII’s website for approximately $194 USD.
