New Balance has unveiled a brand new iteration of its 990v5 Made in USA. Following its creamy “Nimbus Cloud” rendition from last month, New Balance has offered a lush “Covert Green” makeover for the classic silhouette.

Most of the shoe is dominated by an olive palette, accentuated by supple pigskin suede uppers and dark olive leather accents. A glossy “Made in USA” logo is stamped at the top of the tongue, over a bed of breathable mesh fabrics that appear along the upper quarters and toebox. Contrasting the shoe’s nubuck uppers is a sleek rubber “N” logo woven along the sidewalls. Furthermore, “990” branding is embroidered at the rear quarter, complemented by a leather “V” logo at the heel counter. All of these features rest over a crisp two-toned midsole that’s equipped with ENCAP technology for optimal comfort and support.

The New Balance 990v5 Made in USA “Covert Green” is currently available at SSENSE for $175 USD.
