New Balance Lathers Made in US 990v5 in Creamy "Nimbus Cloud" Colorway
Another clean classic.

New Balance has unveiled a brand new iteration of its Made in US 990v5. Following its monochromatic “Kool Grey/Black” version of the silhouette from three days ago, the American footwear label has opted for a clean “Nimbus Cloud” colorway this time around.
Most of the shoe is dominated by creamy ivory-toned suede uppers, contrasted against gray mesh fabrication. Starting at the top of the silhouette, New Balance’s glossy Made in USA patch logo is placed above a mesh tongue and crisp white laces. A semi-translucent rubber overlay appears at the upper quarter, complemented by “990” branding at the rear quarter. At the sidewalls is a large “N” logo in a white full-grain leather that pops out from the shoe’s delicate nubuck base — subtle 3M details at the toebox and heel counter round up the features of the uppers. All of these details rest atop an articulated two-toned ENCAP midsole, accompanied by an Ortholite footbed for maximum comfort and stability.
The New Balance US 990v5 “Nimbus Cloud” is currently available on Finish Line’s website for $175 USD.
