The 'Grudge' Continues With Netflix's 'Ju-on: Origins' Series
The next chapter in the supernatural horror franchise.
NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and Netflix recently released the first trailer for Ju-on: Origins (Ju-on: Noroi no Ie).
Aside from Sam Raimi’s remake, the upcoming series will serve as the latest in The Grudge supernatural horror franchise. Ju-on: Origins will center around Odajima, a paranormal investigator, and a television talent named Haruka Honjo who hears disturbing footsteps in her apartment. The pair are drawn to the franchise’s “cursed house” which opens them to terrifying encounters with an otherworldly force.
Catch the trailer for NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and Netflix’s series above and look for Ju-on: Origins to debut July 3.
