Ezra Koenig Performs 'Father of the Bride' Medley on Fallon
In celebration of the GRAMMY winning album’s first anniversary.
Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig celebrated the first anniversary of Father of the Bride by performing a medley on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Practicing quarantine measures, Koenig filmed the stripped down piano medley in his home studio and featured the tracks “Flower Moon,” “Stranger” and “Big Blue.”
In late February, Vampire Weekend globally released three bonus tracks entitled “Houston Dubai,” “I Don’t Think Much About Her No More” and “Lord Ullin’s Daughter.” Father of the Bride originally dropped in May 2019 and marked their first release in six years, following Modern Vampires of the City. The album debuted at No. 1 and gave the band a GRAMMY Album of the Year nomination and their second win for Best Alternative Album.
