'Snowpiercer' Series Drops Action-Packed Trailer 10 Days Before Launch
“We each have our place.”
Just 10 days before the series is set to release, TNT has now dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Snowpiercer, giving fans an even closer look at what’s about to come.
Almost two minutes long, the trailer unreservedly puts Jennifer Connelly‘s first-class character Melanie Cavill and Daveed Diggs‘ enslaved hero Layton Well at the two polarities of the 1001-car train, both physically and sociopolitically. Both characters stand out as vociferous leaders of their respective hierarchies, with the former determined to maintain the status quo of the train and keep order while the latter fights for his freedom by instigating a revolution.
The clash, as the trailer shows, results in a series of action-packed sequences and emotional scenes, featuring other cast members such as Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand and Jaylin Fletcher.
For fans of both Jacques Lob’s original graphic novel Le Transperceneige or Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 adaptation, the new Snowpiercer series will launch May 17 over on TNT.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Robert Rodriguez has confirmed Baby Yoda for The Mandalorian season two.
