Mysterious Musician RMR Returns With New Visual for "DEALER"
After taking the internet by storm with his Rascal Flatts cover.
Not too much is known of mysterious rapper RMR (pronounced Rumor) except that he has en eclectic taste in music and is a Rascal Flatts fan. The ski-masked musician broke through with his country-tinged “Rascal” music video showing off some serious vocal chops more suited for Stagecoach than the streets. It was the stark contrast of the visual that won plenty of people over. Now he returns with another offering from his upcoming Drug Dealing Is A Lost Art EP, this time ditching the Western twang for some 808s and a sitar sample on “DEALER.”
“DEALER” finds RMR touring the side streets of Los Angeles and making his way to the coast where, after tripping out on some substances that warp his perception of time, he finds his driver burying a shallow grave for him in the sand. This time around, RMR showcases that he can bring his vocals to a more modern instrumental without the jarring disparity of covering a country song.
