DVSN Taps Ty Dolla $ign, Buju Banton for Reggae-Infused "Dangerous City"
Dancehall and R&B vibes.
DVSN has just added to its growing list of releases this year with its latest single “Dangerous City,” tapping Buju Banton and Ty Dolla $ign for the track. The song sees DVSN’s signature R&B sound infused with dancehall vibes, resulting in a catchy tune that’s ready for island and city life alike.
Singer Daniel Daley kicks it off with a sultry introduction, crooning “come baby, let me love you down” to his love interest in the opening hook. Ty Dolla $ign follows up with his signature harmonic tone, offering more affectionate declarations throughout his verse. Buju Banton then joins in at the finish, turning up the reggae vibes to the max. Listen to it all now in the video above or by streaming below.
The single comes on the heels of DVSN’s smooth ’90s-style record with Snoh Aelegra, “Between Us,” which the artists shared last month. Meanwhile in January, the OVO Sound signees kicked the year off with the mellow track “A Muse.”
Elsewhere for Ty Dolla $ign, the singer was recently featured alongside Lil B on Thundercat’s song “Fair Chance,” a tribute to the late Mac Miller. Buja Banton has also delivered new music, tapping Tory Lanez for his “Trust (Remix)” last month.
