Oneohtrix Point Never Shares Mix for Safdie Brothers' Elara Radio Station
The ‘Uncut Gems’ alumnus provides a slew of groovy esoteric jams.
If you didn’t already know, the Safdie Brothers — the acclaimed visionaries behind Uncut Gems, Good Time, and more — have an online radio station called Elara Radio, and they’ve been amping up the mixes over the past couple of weeks. Today, Uncut Gems composer and electronic musician Oneohtrix Point Never, real name Daniel Lopatin, has shared a mix for the station called Depressive Danny’s Witches Borscht Vol. 1: Demented Ass Music From Outer Space. The hourlong tracklist features the likes of Oscar the Grouch, Chuck Cirino, First World, and a slew of other esoteric artists.
Lopatin most recently contributed to The Weeknd’s latest album After Hours on the “Scared to Live,” a track he also performed alongside the R&B heartthrob on Saturday Night Live.
