H&M to Make Personal Protective Equipment for Hospitals & Healthcare Workers
Responding to the global coronavirus pandemic.

H&M Group has announced that it will be producing and providing hospitals and healthcare workers with personal protective equipment following the global outbreak of COVID-19.
The coronavirus pandemic has encouraged H&M to support countries, communities and hard-working people by opening up its supply chain to produce these products. It is quickly utilizing its facilities to produce these materials, and has put a focus on its purchasing operations and logistics capabilities to speed up the delivery of the personal protective equipment.
Anna Gedda, head of sustainability H&M Group said in a press release:
“The Coronavirus is dramatically affecting each and every one of us, and H&M Group is, like many other organizations, trying our best to help in this extraordinary situation. We see this is as a first step in our efforts to support in any way we can. We are all in this together, and have to approach this as collectively as possible.”
In other news, Netflix has pledged $100m USD to those affected by suspended productions.
