Converse Skateboarding Crafts Suede-Tinged Proride SK OX
Featuring an essential “REACT HD” insole.

Converse Skateboarding has crafted a set of two Proride SK OX colorways. The new models come in lush olive and ecru-toned suede — a fabric that helps with traction for different types of skateboarding tricks. Accompanying the release of the shoes is a short skate video where Shinpei Ueno give it a test run by performing a number of tricks.
Detailed from the top of the shoe to the lower regions, the uppers come in a delicate suede fabric that comes with a brittle finish. “Converse” branding is placed at the tongue, complemented by flat tonal laces at the central forefoot. A small leather patch logo is placed at the heel counter, while Converse’s signature One Star motif is placed at the sidewalls. Both colorways come with a tonal rubber midsole, equipped with an essential “REACT HD” insole for optimal comfort. Performing a bevy of difficult manuals, ollies, boardslides and other tricks in the video, Shinpei Ueno offers a glimpse at the capabilities of the ergonomic skate shoe.
Though no exact release dates have been confirmed, Converse Skateboarding’s Proride SK OX is expected to land on Converse Japan’s website in the month of April for $109 USD. Scroll below for a look at the skate video.
