N. HOOLYWOOD COMPILE Drops Chunky-Soled UGG Sandals & Oxford Shoes
As seen on the label’s NYFW SS20 runway.
N. HOOLYWOOD COMPILE and UGG have officially released their collaborative sandals and sneakers that we first saw at the imprint’s New York Fashion Week runway show last June.
The label’s founder and designer Daisuke Obana has taken two unique UGG footwear options, that we previously got a closer look at last year, and has added his signature dark utilitarian touch to them. The collaborative slide and shoes boast a chunky flat-form sole unit that serves as the base for a tonal, minimalistic uppers.
N. HOOLYWOOD COMPILE’s UGG slide sports a smooth suede upper that’s engraved with the Japanese label’s moniker on its rear quarter, as well as UGG branding on the opposite side. Its sole unit is gargantuan and swole, and is ergonomically curved to offer optimum levels of comfort.
The shoes are a chunky-soled take on the traditional Oxford silhouette, combining smooth black leather with the same standout sole unit. The pair is finished with debossed branding at either side of the rear-quarter, and is finished with a set of black laces. Take a look at both pairs from the N. HOOLYWOOD COMPILE x UGG collaboration in the gallery above, and pick them up from N. HOOLYWOOD’s website while stocks last.
In other news, adidas has upgraded its BOOST-equipped Adilette slides with pony hair and snakeskin finishes.
