'Kingdom Hearts Series Finally Coming to Xbox
‘Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX’ and ‘Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue’ collect the entire franchise.
Since the Kingdom Hearts franchise debuted way back in 2002, the majority of the games have been released on the PlayStation, accompanied by various Nintendo GameBoy titles. Finally, Xbox One owners will be able to experience the legendary series by way of two immense collections, beginning with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX.
Though they were released on the PlayStation 4 in 2017, each digital-only collection is now debuting on the Xbox. Both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and its follow-up, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, pack in a selection of Kingdom Hearts titles, complete with HD-remastered graphics.
Available for $50 USD, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Meanwhile, its counterpart, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, offers Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage – and Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, a non-playable movie, all for $60 USD.
Both collections are available on Xbox Game Pass now. The third sequential major franchise entry, the divisive Kingdom Hearts 3, will hit digital shelves on February 25, accompanied by its ReMind DLC.
