Watch Snoh Aalegra's Mesmerizing 'NPR' Tiny Desk Concert Performance
A range of sultry, R&B tunes.
Iranian-Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra has joined NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series for a soulful performance highlighting songs from her 2019 album -Ugh, those feels again. With the tracks stripped of their heavy beats and trap echoes, Aalegra’s smooth R&B vocals take the stage. The performance showcases a raw rendition of the artist’s romantic verses and atmospheric tunes.
Aalegra kicks off the performance with her track “Love Like That,” before introducing one of her biggest hits, “I Want You Around.” Continuing to express the highs and lows of being in love, Aalegra performs “Whoa,” a song detailing the euphoric feelings that come from closeness and intimacy. Aalegra transitions into “Fool For You,” a track from off of her 2017 album Feels, and finishes off the performance with her catchy single, “Find Someone Like You.” The song highlights her sultry vocals and melodic tone, referencing classic R&B sounds.
Aalegra will launch her North American tour on March 18 in Vancouver and end in Atlanta, Georgia on May 2. Watch Aalegra’s Tiny Desk Concert on NPR above and head to Snoh Aalegra’s website for more information on tour dates and locations.
